At the YMCA of Waycross, swim lessons are about much more than learning how to swim—they’re about building confidence, developing lifesaving water safety skills, and creating a lifelong love for the water. Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the pool or working to become a stronger swimmer, our experienced instructors provide a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for swimmers of all skill levels.
We offer both group and private swim lessons to meet the individual needs of every swimmer.
Group Swim Lessons provide a fun, supportive environment where children learn essential swimming techniques, water safety skills, and confidence alongside others of similar abilities. Our structured lessons encourage skill development, teamwork, and personal achievement while making learning to swim an enjoyable experience.
Private Swim Lessons offer personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each swimmer’s abilities, goals, and comfort level. Whether your child needs extra attention, is overcoming a fear of water, or wants to improve specific swimming techniques, private lessons allow our instructors to focus on individual progress at a comfortable pace.
