After School Director

   Jeana Griffin serves as the YMCA’s After School Director.  She started with the YMCA as a preschool teacher in 2007 and in May 2009 became the After – School Director.  As a native of Ware County she graduated from Ware County High in 2000.  Her children attend the preschool and after-school programs here and she is passionate about teaching and caring for the children in our community.

    Today the Childers Family YMCA operates at the Plant Avenue facility and proudly boast recent renovations to the Olympic size heated indoor pool, preschool department, outdoor deck & staircase to lower campus, and much more. If its been a while since you've been inside, you won't believe what we've done.
